European Judo Championships Veterans 2025
The Latvian Judo Federation hosted the 2025 European Judo Veterans Championship in Riga, an event organized by the European Judo Union since 2009.
-
Problem:
Initial visitor registration relied on a single entry point, leading to long queues that caused delays and hindered networking opportunities during wait times.
-
Solution:
A temporary queue system was implemented, with equipment set up the day before the event and dismantled the evening after its conclusion.
Visitors collected tickets at a kiosk and waited in a spacious area, allowing them to socialize or move freely until called.
Notifications were also accessible via a link, enhancing convenience.
Over 600 tickets were issued, and the client was satisfied, with hopes that visitors were too.
Real-time configuration allowed the client to adjust the number of operators based on demand.
-
Next steps:
Future events will introduce QR codes to streamline registration and separate services to improve operator efficiency and enable more flexible queue management.
