Leyline Yardy
Queues are not just of people. Queues of trucks are also queues, which need management. Examples of areas of application: manufacturing, agriculture, logistics, borders. Queues of trucks can appear both on-premises and before entering your territory, both challenges can be tackled with Leyline Yardy.
We will describe an example of the flow.
Outside the territory
The flow starts long before the truck comes to your premises, the visit is booked remotely, either by the driver, or your counteragent. Booking allows to fill in a lot of information in advance, like plate number, driver details, waybill number etc.
Upon arriving closer to your premises, the driver is registered, either via mobile app, web, kiosk or other means.
The truck driver is instructed to wait somewhere not far from your territory, like a café, fueling station or a designated waiting area.
When the time comes, the dispatcher calls the truck driver to approach the premises using Push notifications, SMS, automated call or any other means.
Of course, we understand that every case is somewhat unique, but these building blocks can be put in place in every which way to optimize all sorts of complicated processes with any number of integrated systems.
